Eastern's Graduate Counseling Psychology Department offers training in each of the following settings:

• Community/Clinical Counseling: Explores a framework for understanding human experience and designing strategies for positive change in individuals, families, churches and communities. 
• School Counseling: Focuses on training elementary and secondary counselors who function as advocates for their students to promote the best interests of children within the school and larger community. 
• School Psychology: Combines theoretical knowledge and practical experience to teach graduates how best to serve children through assessing their needs and abilities in diverse school settings.
